Mr. Deeds

Good Deeds was a great movie. Tyler Perry played the main character, Wesley Deeds and did a fantastic job. When he cried I found myself crying along with him. I would like to see more movies where he is the lead actor.

Phylicia Rashad played Willimena, Wesley's mother. I'm used to seeing her play sweet, patient characters and Willimena was the total opposite. Her portrayal of the character was awesome.

Good deeds is a romantic, comedy, drama about a predictable high class business man who meets a very unpredictable cleaning lady, (Lindsey Wakefield, played by Thandie Newton) and their discovery of love. When Lindsey starts to remind Wesley of the man he really is, he decides to follow his own path instead of the one forced upon him by his father and mother.

I give this movie 5 stars because very few movies cause me to wipe away my own tears. This is a must see movie for any Tyler Perry fan.
